What is Parsimony?

Parsimony means the infrequent use of assumptions in forming theories that explain the nature our world and Universe. It also goes by the name of Ockham's razor. Ockham was the 13th century Philosopher who propounded the idea that the best theories or explanations were those that relied on the fewest assumptions -- or relied on fewer assumptions than competing theories.

It is our goal to delve into all explanations of reality from pure observational science to religious experience and to explore those theories, hypothesis', and beliefs that best fit the evidence while making the fewest assumptions.
