Paternal Descent of Gregg Family.  I am the 10th generation of the Gregg name, before that MacGregor, which traces back to Gregor. Born about A.D 820, Gregor was the younger son to Alpin, the Dalriadic King of Scotland. His Mother was a native Pict who's name is not recorded.
