The
base text of this translation is the World English Bible (WEB) which was
revised into the Hebrew Names Version (HNV). The WEB is based
on the American Standard Version (1901):
About the World English Bible§3. Corrections made by the HNV:The World English Bible (WEB) is a Public Domain (no copyright) Modern English translation of the Holy Bible, based on the American Standard Version of the Holy Bible first published in 1901, the Biblia Hebraica Stutgartensa Old Testament, and the Greek Majority Text New Testament. It is in draft form, and currently being edited for accuracy and readability. The New Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs are close to how they will read when they are finished, but most of the Old Testament still contains some archaic grammar that will be revised. There is also a Hebrew Names Version of the World English Bible is created by substituting traditional Hebrew names and phrases for equivalent Greek/English names and phrases. Although there are Hebrew versions of some names and a few differing translational choices where more than one rendition is reasonable, the meaning of the Holy Scriptures remains the same. Like the WEB, the HNV is in draft form right now. It is automatically updated as the World English Bible and the substitution list are updated.
The HNV corrects most of the nouns in the text to their proper Hebrew renditions. There are a few mistakes, like 'Yarden' for the proper 'Yardayn' (Jordan River). Some of these errors with the 'tsere' vowel have been corrected --- but not all yet as the translation is still under revision. Often Hebrew words are substituted for their English Equivalents, like 'eretz' for 'earth.' But these do not change any of the meanings from the WEB.
§4. The Parsimony Recension: Official Names.

§5. Language History & Theory.
a. It is recognized that
Jews of the Second Temple period spoke and understood Hebrew, Greek, and
Aramaic. The Jews to the east spoke Aramaic. The Jews
to the west, Greek. And in Judea and Galilee they spoke all
three.
c. The Greek text
represents a Hebrew/Aramaic source in oral sayings, or in written logia.
The purpose of this translation is not to reproduce the Greek, but to get
at what would have been said in Hebrew by the original participants in
the recorded history.
d. The Greek, however,
is recognized as authoritative, and no translation is herein made which
would actually have the effect of contradicting the Greek.
§6. For textual criticism, the latest edition of Nestle-Aland is considered correct, except in a small number of cases where other MSS indicate a translation in closer agreement with Torah, and these may include Latin, Aramaic, Coptic, or Ethiopic sources.
§7. After the translation is complete, we will proceed to provide the justifications for each and every rendering in the text, starting with the most theologically important, and proceeding to the more minor.

Our use of the WEB, HNV, is by no means and endorsement of these versions.
The HNV preserves nearly all the theological mistranslations of the
last 1800 years, e.g.
Gal. 2:16: yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through the faith of Yeshua the Messiah, even we believed in Messiah Yeshua, that we might be justified by faith in Messiah, and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.By this Paul means (1) Everyone has stepped outside the Law (1) No one is right outside doing the Law, (2) There is only one exception to this: Yayshua's faithfulness in providing atonement, (3) But this is really not an exception, since his atonement is not really 'outside' Torah, but is included in it.
Which corrects to:
knowing yet that a man is not righted outside of the works of the Torah, unless through the faithfulness of Yayshua HaMashiakh. Even we faithfully trust in Mashiakh Yayshua, that we might be righted by the faithfulness of Mashiakh, and so not outside the works of the Torah, because outside the works of the Torah, no flesh shall be righted.
